Blue Ash is about 12 miles northeast of downtown, tucked between I-71, I-75 and I-275, and it has built its pet life around one place: Summit Park. The 130-acre park in the middle of the city has trails, a pond, an observation tower, a fenced off-leash dog park with separate big and small dog areas, and a MadTree taproom with a dog-friendly patio right next to it. Dogs are welcome on the trail on a leash no longer than six feet, which is the state park rule for the whole corridor.
